The Process

Road to Competition

01

Become a Member

The first thing you need to do is buy a membership with the ABBA
02

Define your Discipline

We offer several categories from Men's Bodybuilding to Men's Physique, and Bikini to Women's Physique. Once you decide to compete, you and your coach should discuss what discipline best suits your physique.
03

Complete a Posing Seminar

The best way to improve your posing is to practice, practice, practice. Hire a posing coach and attend posing seminars so that you can continue to improve, and show off your hard work.
04

Find and Register for an Event

The ABBA has 2 - 3 regional shows per calendar year. Those who place top 5 in their category, qualify for Nationals in either the Natural stream (International Events Qualifier), or open Nationals (CBBF Nationals).  Click on the show in which you'd like to compete.
05

Compete

Once you've taken the step to compete, ensure your suit, tan, hair, makeup and shoes(if applicable), follow the regulations. Educate yourself, and reach out to us with any and all questions you may have. We're here to help.
